As part of our learning on the alphabet I grabbed a copy of Alphabeticals – a book of 26 fun alphabet-character templates to enjoy. I thought it would be a great way to make something very hands-on to display around our space once we finished a particular letter focus.
Whenever we are learning the alphabet we tend to read lots of books with the letter focus of the week in it, then use the Alphabet Pack to complete activities and daily practice pages.
At the end of the week I thought it would be a good idea for the kids to complete an Alphabetical, but it just wasn’t possible for the kids to all have an Alphabetical book. Instead I give the chance to 2 students to create one together (with some help from me) – which means they all get a go at completing an alphabet-character. To put it together we use glue or transparent tape (make sure you hold the tape down for 5 seconds so that it really sticks – you will see we forgot to do this in the last photo!)
2 littles made the letter W to display in our space but here are some pictures of the Astronaut!
